OUR STORY
Dogs need exercise and humans need beer, right?
Okay, maybe we don’t need the beer, but our furry friends do need exercise and we humans do like beer. That’s where That Dane Bar comes in. We are an indoor dog park designed to bring the community of dog lovers together in a social environment complimented with beer, wine and other spirits. While we do not serve food, we do allow you to bring your own or grab one of our prepackaged snacks available at the bar. All human guests must be 21 and older and each dog must be up to date on vaccinations as well as spayed/neutered.

Our facility features 3,500 sq. ft. of indoor social space. The bar is comprised of a lounge area as well as an off-leash area where your dog can run and play with his/her friends while you socialize with yours!

That Dane Bar does offer memberships! Membership gives you unlimited access to the bark park as well as member only drink specials.

So come join us! We’d love to have you.

MEET THE OWNERS
We’re Lisa and Rogue from Fargo, ND. Growing up I loved dog sitting for family and friends which lead me to opening That Dane Dogsitter in 2010 with my two great danes, Gracie and Boo Boo. After they passed away in 2015, I knew I’d need another companion and in 2016 I adopted Rogue who definitely had some big paws to fill!

Fast forward from rescue to poolside, Rogue and I moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ and decided to pursue our dream of opening an indoor dog park and bar in honor of Gracie and BooBoo! We introduced Jade to the team in 2019 and she continues to this day to manage the Bark Park.
Rogue passed away December of 2021. He was my soulmate without a doubt and it's goes without saying I couldn't have had a better business pawtner. Rogue and I were co-barktenders for the humans and his legacy continues as he led me to Rufus who now co-barktends and even gets the tips off the bar like Rogue. The team expanded again in October 2022 as we added Johnny to the team. He's the goofiest of them all and would rather play in the park his entire shift then to do any sort of work (We don't blame him).
